“Alla prima” (Italian for “at first attempt”) is a direct, wet-on-wet painting approach where you complete a piece in one sitting, focusing on color, light, and expression rather than perfection.
Alicia will walk you through how to create a finished oil painting in one sitting, from mixing color and building composition to working with confidence and looseness.
All materials are included and you’ll go home with you own finished oil painting!
A little bit about Alicia: Alicia is a Boston-based artist and muralist, as well as the founder of Blue House Art, where she creates custom murals, commissions, and hand-painted branding for businesses and homes.
