Hosted Dinners
Our hosted dinners are intimate dining experiences held in the home's of our hosts. Each table is made up of 6-12 people and each menu is crafted with care. The tables rotate between spotlighting local chefs and the creations and menus of our hosts.
Organized Events
To best serve our entire community, The Aperitivo Society organizes group dinners at local bars and restaurants for its members to attend. Join our Geneva group to join in on a reservation.

the host
ciao - my name is Maria. I created The Aperitivo Society after my first year living in Boston as a way to meet new people and expand my community here while doing what I love - hosting, cooking, and pouring people a drink.
My grandfather always said that the best way to get to know someone was to sit around the table and open up a bottle of wine. I was raised Italian (on my father's side) and Irish/Croatian (on my mother's side) - the desire to host and bring people together over food and drinks is part of my DNA.
Thanks to a TikTok, this community grew to almost 700 members overnight. I quickly learned that I was not the only one craving this kind of experience and community in the Boston area. We now offer tables in several of Boston's neighborhoods, ranging in ticket price and menu offerings. Each host is carefully selected to ensure that each person receives a unique, nourishing, and seamless dining experience.
